Apple are now attempting to halt jailbreaking for the time being. Latest 3GS models are now loaded with a new booting firmware update, iBoot-359.3.2 which fixes the popular 24kpwn exploit. Another exploit will have to be found in order to jailbreak future iPhones, but fear not there will always be a way around this.
