New experimental add-on for Firefox will defragment your Firefox “Places” database which stores your history and bookmarks.
It claims to reduce start-up time as well as get rid of lag while typing in address bar.
I just tried this on my work computer and it made a big difference!

Lifehacker has an article on how to significantly reduce “GSM Buzz”. Yeah we’ve all had it happen before, place your cell phone near your speakers and it goes ‘TSK TSK TSK.’ However, keeping an antistatic bag (normally found with hard drives) will cut down on the buzz so you can enjoy your music while having your cell phone out.

Daynah over at [PHP-Princess] has figured out a neat workaround for getting that 11th+ page to display. It involves having all 11 pages of iPhone apps and moving one of the stock apps to the last page to boot an icon to the 12th page where it would then appear.
