I’m sure you all already heard, but Super Smash Bros. 64 has been released for the Wii.  You can download it for 1000 Wii points, which is equivalent to about 10 bucks.

Unfortunately I don’t have a Wii.  Fortunately at school, people have the original nintendo 64’s which we play super smash bros. religiously.  Or at least we used to.  We should do that again.  Definitely.

Capcom’s mashup fighter currently available in Japan in arcades and on the Wii will be getting 4 new characters when it comes to the states.  However, no news on who the characters may be.

There will also be improved online matchmaking over the Japanese version and will be cross compatible with all territories around the world.

So I was pretty distraught when I learned that the Nintendo Press conference lacked a title I was hoping to hear – the next Zelda.  While I do not own a wii, I still believed that I would play the next Zelda, but with no new word – who’s to say when that could be?  Anyway, saw a video on Kotaku here where Miyamoto-san briefly hints that a new Zelda IS in the making, but not much else is said.  This is good news, but then again, I am still waiting.
