The founder of the infamous social networking site, Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, has released the statistic that Facebook has reached 300 million users worldwide. And it doesn’t stop at that; they are also cash-flow positive now.
I think the most amazing part of this is the way that Facebook has gained 50 million of its new users between July and September. That means they grew an enormous 20% in the span of less than 3 months.
Perhaps I shouldn’t be surprised since everyone I know has a Facebook, even if they don’t use it very often. In my case, it’s only a place where ChenZen updates go. But I am curious as to what has prompted the rapid growth recently. The 300 million mark makes Facebook the largest social networking site out there now. So what comes next?
