Windows XP: The True Threat

So what’s really creating problems for Microsoft right now?  It’s the users who do not want to give up on their dated machines that are still running Windows XP.  With 71.8 percent of the market share still running XP, things look pretty bleak at the moment.  This means 71.8% of all people with computers are still using an OS that was released about 8 years ago.

Fortunately, with Windows 7 around the corner, there is hope!  Recently usage of XP has been dropping in favor Vista and 7.  When Windows 7 does finally get released for the general public on October 22, we’ll see what actually happens though.
